Five great books you should read

First of all, I would like to send you all my love, my positive thoughts and positive energy through these hard times and if there is one thing to keep in mind is that you are not alone in this world.

This year, besides my morning ritual and my daily physical activity, I have started another challenge, this time related to my knowledge, because knowledge is love and light and vision.

That’s the best way I can personally relax, it’s a great way to escape your daily life and step in another dimension regardless of what you enjoy reading. It can be poetry, self development, fiction, prose, novels and so on.

My preferences might not be everyone’s preferences, of course, but I decided, since I know you have enjoyed some of my recommendations, to give you a list of my top five favorite books I read so far in 2020.

1. The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma

I love this guy, I read The monk who sold his Ferrari 3 years ago and it captivated me.

He has a unique style of writing, very easy to read and understand, I really imagine and feel exactly what he describes in his books.

In this book you will find a revolutionary morning routine that will help you maximize your productivity, increase your focus, become more disciplined, more relaxed and by that even your sleep will improve.

It’s been 3 months since I am part of the 5 AM Club and it’s a game changer for me. It is a lifetime habit I will never give up on, no matter what. Even when I travel or I have very early wake up calls, I still wake up, even earlier, so I can complete my morning ritual.

What Robin likes to say through his book is: “own your morning, elevate your life.

It became my morning memento.

Before I continue, I must say that the order of the books is aleatory as they come to my mind.

2. Atomic Habits by James Clear

It’s quite a voluminous book as you look at it, but don’t get scared, it’s easy to go through it.

This books is teaching you step by step how to build good habits and how to break the bad ones and get 1 percent better every day.

I know it sounds simple and you will say what’s new in that, but trust me, you’ll still find something new to learn and something to motivate you in changing your daily habits.

Something to keep you going and to always remember, is that tiny changes will deliver big results in time.

3. The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav

It is a fantastic book that brought so much calm in my life, even by reading the title I am already so positively charged.

I am honest with you, if you read this book, it will completely change the way you see the world, interact with other people and understand your own actions and motivations.

Here is something I simply adore from this book: “Eventually, you will come to understand that love heals everything, and love is all there is.”

4. As a man thinketh by James Allen

It’s considered one of the most powerful books (top 10 most motivational books of all times) and it’s been the most recommended amongst the top leaders of the world, Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, Jeff Bezos, just to name a few.

It’s a tiny book with a lot of valuable information, I found it a bit hard to read and focus on what he is trying to say, like I often find my mind going places while I read, but that’s something happening to me only perhaps.

This book is something you read and reread all the time.

As a man thinketh stresses about the importance of mastering your mind to turn dreams into reality. You must think big and you should become the “master gardener” of your mind. Thoughts are like seeds, they will continue to grow and multiply. If you start with strong, optimistic thoughts it will lead to more of the same, and maintaining those will lead to a better result.

“Men do not attract that which they want, but that which they are.

“Thoughts of doubt and fear never accomplished anything, and never can. They always lead to failure. Purpose, energy, power to do, and all strong thoughts cease when doubt and fear creep in.”

5. Tools of Titans by Tim Ferris

I must confess that I am half way through this book, I finished the “Healthy” and “Wealthy” sections and I have left the “Wise” part to read. It’s a 736 pages book which I challenge myself to finish in one week.

As I write about it now, even if I didn’t finished yet, it’s a book I would definitely recommend simply because it has it all. That’s the best way to say it.

If you are interested in how the strongest people or most successful sports people used to train or what diet they were on or maybe you also want to know and find out from the most successful businessmen in this world and what their beliefs are, this is the book for you.

The tactics, routines, habits of billionaires, icons and top world performers are all there, in one book.

“When you complain, nobody want to help you.”

“The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.”

This was my list of books you should read in a lifetime and if you do enjoy them and it helps you in any possible way, I promise I will prepare another one for you.

Happy reading, my friends!

Much love,
